Duet supports non-emergency medical (NEM) transport services.
You can ask the facility who manages the NEM bookings to use Duet WebApp to book the rides. This way the bookings will be directly added to Duet's Bookings table for dispatching.
If the facility uses a separate software to book the NEM rides, you can download the bookings from the facility's software, and import the booking file into the WebApp which can process the booking file and convert the qualified bookings to Duet bookings for dispatching.
If the facility books ride at least one-day in advance, then you only need to import the facility's booking file once a day at any time during the day.
Before importing the file
You need to call, confirm each booking with its rider to update the appointment or pickup time, pickup and dropoff addresses, mobility needs and number of people accompanying the rider.
Prepare the booking file for importing
1. use csv file only.
2. if the file has labels separated in two different rows, collapse the labels into one row.
For instance, the file (top) in the image below, copy the Pickup label in the first row and add it to the address, city and zipcode labels in the second row (bottom) that the Pickup is associated. After collapsing, delete the extra row. All the changes need to be made exactly the same from file to file to ensure the file mapping works smoothly when the file is being imported.

3. exam all the bookings for information completeness.
A qualified booking must have rider name, phone number, appointment date, appointment time or pickup time or both, leg, pickup address (address, city and zipcode), dropoff address (address, city and zipcode), mobility assistance information and the trip ID or other ID assigned by the facility's booking software.
Import the booking file
To import the facility's booking file, go to the left side menu bar and click Rider Services > NEM file import. Follow the instructions on the screens to upload the file.

Once the file is accepted, the WebApp will automatically qualify each booking, and converted the qualified bookings to Duet's own booking data which can be used for dispatching. After this process is completed, a summary will be displayed on the screen as well as emailed to you.
Duplicate bookings, i.e., the bookings were already imported. The bookings in the new file will replace the bookings with the same Trip ID that are already in the system.
You can review all the imported bookings in the NEM booking table. If the imported bookings are valid by Duet standard, they will be copied to Duet's own bookings table which can be found in the Bookings page or Menu > Rider Services > Bookings.
IMPORTANT, for any bookings that are not imported by the WebApp or are invalid deemed by Duet, please exam these bookings' information in the original file to identify and fix the problems. After addressing all the issues, you can copy these corrected bookings into a different csv file and import this new file again.
